We Made Bacon Cream Cheese Rangoons

What a simple, versatile and delicious treat! Thanks to my sister-in-law, Jodi Witt Bailey for giving me the idea. Here's how to make it:



INGREDIENTS:

  • Won ton wrappers

  • Bacon - enough for half a cup chopped

  • One green onion

  • 8 oz of softened cream cheese


FOR SAUCE:

  • Soy sauce

  • Sesame oil


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Soften cream cheese to room temperature

  2. Place cream cheese in a bowl

  3. Slice one green onion

  4. Fry bacon, remove from oil, let cool and crumble/chop

  5. Add all of the ingredients into the bowl to combine with cream cheese

  6. Take out the won ton wrappers

  7. Rub water on all four sides

  8. Place a dollop of the mixture in the middle of the wrapper

  9. Pinch the four opposite sides together.

  10. Place in a pan with heated oil

  11. Fry until golden brown

  12. Remove from pan, let cool and enjoy!
