Bacon Wrapped Onion Rings


Try this scrumptious way to make onion rings! No frying!


INGREDIENTS (for rings):

  • 2 to 3 large white onions

  • 1 pound of bacon


INGREDIENTS (for dressing)

  • 1/2 cup of sour cream

  • 1/2 cup of mayo

  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream

  • 1 Tsp of salt

  • 1 Tsp of thyme

  • 1 Tsp of dill

  • 1 Tsp of onion powder

  • 1 Tsp of garlic powder


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

  2. Slice the onions into rings

  3. Wrap each ring with bacon strips until completely covered

  4. Bake in oven for 25-35 minutes (depends on thickness of bacon)

  5. Cook on broil for an additional 2-3 minutes to get bacon crispier


For the dressing

  • Mix the sour cream, mayo and dry ingredients in a bowl

  • Slowly add the heavy cream

  • Cover and let chill in fridge for at least one hour


Serve and enjoy!
