How to Make Bacon Cheese Biscuits
These are easy and delightful! Great breakfast or snack! Good for Brunch! They look so pretty! Here's how to make them:
INGREDIENTS:
4 or 5 strips of bacon (or pre-made bacon bits)
4 oz of cream cheese (softened)
1 egg
1 Tbsp of milk
1/4 cup of shredded swiss cheese
1 Tbsp of dried minced onion
1 Roma tomato (de-seeded and diced)
1 can of flaky biscuits
DIRECTIONS:
Fry your bacon, drain on paper towel and set aside
Once bacon is cool , crumble into bits
De-seed and dice your tomato (divide into two halves)
Take a bowl and combine the cream cheese, egg and milk
Beat together until smooth with a hand mixer
Once smooth, add bacon bits, cheese, onion and half of the tomato
Mix together and set aside
Spray a muffin tin with cooking oil
Open the can of biscuits
If using a mini muffin tin, divide biscuits into quarters
If not, don't divide biscuits
Press dough into tin
Fill each one with the mixture, top w/remaining half of diced tomato
Bake in 375 degree oven for 14 to 18 minutes (just keep checking them)
Remove from oven, let cool and plate them and serve!
